But most social media is funded by advertising, and today we’re flooded with ads, noise, and misinformation with almost no oversight to call out what’s untrue. WAM is different. Here, we correct misinformation, protect truth, and hold one another to a higher standard. We encourage you to keep your social media accounts and use them to share our movement, while WAM remains the home where truth is upheld and the people’s voices are honored.

The Whirlwind Community is organized into Circles and Groups that honor identity, culture, advocacy, healing, education, and practical support. Some spaces are admin‑only to protect sacred topics. Others are member‑driven, allowing the community to grow and evolve through the people inside it.
Members can also bring their own groups, create new Circles (where allowed), host discussions, build community spaces, and connect with like‑minded people through private chat, group chat, and personal profile pages.
